I am so happy and pleased to be able to announce that millinery creations by Bombshell Revival Designs are now gracing the shelves of Stunning!, a fabulous boutique in the market on York Street here in Ottawa!
I met the owner of Stunning!, Mandy Gosewich, recently one Saturday afternoon while strolling around the market with my friend, Sandra. I had passed the shop before but had not had the opportunity to stop in until that fateful Saturday. I was immediately impressed by and felt drawn in by the boutique….not to mention its owner!
The store’s décor and display ideas are unexpected, fresh and eclectic. The jewelry and accessories are unique, well made, creative and there is something for everyone – conservative, rock’n’roll, girly, funky, glamorous, young or old – you ask for it and Mandy can probably style it for you! It is a wonderful shopping experience at Stunning!, even if you are just passing time and browsing that day, and that is what Mandy has told me she wants every client to have – an experience! It is what makes fashion, personal style and shopping such a joy and favourite past time for gals of all kinds and to find someone like Mandy and a boutique such as hers that gets that and celebrates it is a gem indeed in these often cookie cutter times we live in!
There have been a few articles written about Mandy and Stunning! and I have included the links here. Her life story is one of family history, hard work and passion. It is so inspiring to meet a fellow lifer from Ottawa who has chosen to open her boutique here with pride and in celebration of her retail heritage. She has a wealth of experience and talent which, again, I am so blessed that she has chosen and offered to share with me.

So, needless to say, I was ecstatic and honoured after we exchanged business cards and emails that Mandy was interested in adding my hats and fascinators to her boutique’s wonderful collection. She currently has eight different pieces right now – actually, oops!, I should say seven, as one has already sold! I will be working on some new designs over the next couple of months and providing them to Mandy for her selection and will be sure to post them here as I have updates.
Anyways, take a moment the next time you are in the market to visit Mandy and try on a bauble or two – you will not be disappointed and it may just change the whole experience for you of shopping and what it should be!
