Well, after this weekend I will have made it through my first fall/Christmas season of shows. It has been an interesting experience. Some shows were great and some not so much (and I don’t just mean sales wise) but, all were a learning opportunity in various ways – display ideas, stock that sells and does not, customer demographics and even what types of shows better suit me as an artist. I have a new game plan for the coming year and am excited to see the growth and results it will yield!
In the meantime, this weekend, I will be at the Baz’Art show at the Shenkman Arts Centre in Orleans. The show runs from Saturday, November 30th to Sunday, December 1st and is from 11am to 5pm both days. This will be my first time doing this show (as well as a two day show!) and I am looking forward to it as it will bring me and my work to a whole new community and area of the city who perhaps have not yet been introduced to Bombshell Revival Designs. I have heard good things about this show and the artists who will also be showing and selling this weekend. Here are two links for more information about the show and the Shenkman Arts Centre itself:

I know it’s cold out there this week and is not supposed to get much better over the weekend but, at least the snow is still pretty and perhaps it is a great time to throw yourselves into the Christmas spirit and get some shopping done. The Shenkman Arts Centre is right beside Place D’Orleans Shopping Centre on Centrum Boulevard. So, when you’ve had enough of the crowds, too hot stores and run of the mill, everyday fare being offered in the stores, come on over to the Baz’Art Show and visit with myself and some other artists. You might just find that special something for that equally special someone on your list.
