I have had a few clients ask me where they can view my new collection and what events I will be doing this spring. So, here is my current itinerary and where you can next see Bombshell Revival’s newest imaginings.
My first show is Vibrant! on April 25th and 26th at the Library Archives on Wellington Street in Ottawa. I will be there both days from 10am to 4pm.
Here are a couple of excerpts from the OVCC’s event website to pique your interest.
Celebrate Spring at the #1 artisans’ market in town!
The OVCC | Artisans @ the Archives launches Spring with a celebration of the work of some of the best artists and artisans from across Ottawa, the Valley and the Outaouais. Celebrating pottery, glass, jewellery, paintings & drawings, wood turning, gourmet foods, fashion & accessories, photography, furniture & decor, sculpting, body & beauty and more. Come and enjoy our one-stop shopping experience.
Looking for Mother’s Day gifts? We have you covered!
Looking for THE perfect Mother’s Day gift? A vast array of unique gift items lovingly handcrafted by local artisans awaits you at ‘Vibrant!’. Be amazed at the large selection of great gift ideas for the athlete Mom, trendsetter Mom, sports fan Mom, power Mom, or rockstar Mom in your life. Our artisans will make it easy to find a thoughtful and unique gift within your price range. Why go from retailer to retailer in malls to shop for something mass-produced when you can get Mom a gift that was handcrafted right here in the Ottawa Valley? Needless to say we have Dad and everyone else on your list (including you!) covered as well…
Think local!
The OVCC Guild’s catch phrase continues to be ‘think local’ as we try to convince the public to shy away from buying imported, mass-produced goods and focus on locally made one-of-a-kind items instead. In return, the Guild has found a way to give back to the wonderful community, of which we are all a part, by supporting a local charity during each of our shows. In 2013/2014 we have raised over $5,000 for charities such as Roger’s House, the Ottawa Senators Foundation, the Ottawa Humane Society and the Royal Ottawa.
This is an all ages type of show with something for everyone. There is excellent wheelchair and stroller access in an out of the building as well as throughout the floor plan of the show. There is also plenty of free parking in lots beside the building for this event.

My next event is 613 Night Market on May 2nd at the Shaw Centre in downtown Ottawa. This is an evening event which runs from 4pm to 12am. I participated in this event in October, 2014 and it was a party and a half!!! Amazing food, drinks, artisans and music…not to mention the people watching! This is more of an adults only event due its time of day and nightclubesque (yes, I made that word up) vibe.

My final event for the spring season will be Ottawa Comiccon on May 8th, 9th and 10th at the E.Y. Centre near the airport in Ottawa.
I was a vendor at Ottawa Comiccon last year and it was quite the experience! I am looking forward to being part of it again this year. I have reserved the same spot – corner booth, near the autographs area in Artist Alley. This year a couple of the noteworthy guests, for me anyways, are Richard Dean Anderson of MacGyver fame and Lance Henrikson from the Alien franchise and the television show, Millennium. There are lots of props, vendors, costumes and other items of interest to see and experience, even if you are not a huge sci-fi, comic book or cosplay fan. It is a wonderful family or date friendly event.

So there you have it and hope to see some of you there. Wish me luck and a great show season!
